FAQPage schema is a Schema.org type that marks up question-and-answer content so search engines and AI assistants can extract individual Q&A pairs as direct answers.

FAQPage is the single highest-ROI schema type for AI search visibility. Each mainEntity is a Question with an acceptedAnswer (Answer). Keep answers 40–80 words, lead with a verb, and avoid links inside the answer text. Google penalizes FAQ schema on transactional pages (product, pricing) — reserve it for informational pages and city/service landing pages.
